Activities

The NBELS creates working groups in order to study the current state of environmental law as well as law reform initiatives in New Brunswick.

Leading members of the NBELS participate in panel discussions and attend conferences and the Society offers its own continuing education program for members via workshops and publications.

The Society also speaks up on important environmental issues affecting New Brunswickers.

And, since fighting for the environment implies a deep appreciation of nature, the NBELS also organizes nature excursions and other outings for its members.

We often work in collaboration with other citizens' groups and environmental orgaizations to focus attention on important matters.

More recently the NBELS toured the province with its environmental investigations workshop.
